WrongTrump (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

• Account data: name, username, email, password hash, optional profile bio/avatar, side preference.
• OAuth data: if you use Facebook login, we receive your Facebook ID, name, email (if permitted), and profile picture URL.
• Usage data: debates viewed, arguments posted, votes, tickets, IP address, browser user-agent, and security logs.
• Communications: contact form messages and support ticket contents.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and secure the platform (authentication, fraud prevention, rate limiting).
• Operate debates, scoring, notifications, and support.
• Improve reliability via error logging and audit trails.
• Comply with law and enforce Community Guidelines.

3. Legal Bases

Where applicable (e.g., GDPR), we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (marketing if ever used), and legal obligation.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share with infrastructure providers under contract, or when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Public arguments and usernames are visible to other users by design.

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion subject to legal holds and residual backups. Security logs are retained for a limited period for abuse investigation.

We use hashed passwords (Argon2id/bcrypt), CSRF tokens, prepared statements, secure cookie flags, and role-based access. No method is 100% secure; please use a unique strong password.

8. Your Rights

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
